DRM is digital rights management (I think) and affects how you can play the files you download. It limits where and how many times you can play. Some respectable record lables (eg yep roc) have DRM-free files, but I think they're in the minority.

Anyway enough of the technobabble. Say hi to the family. Thurso's been plagued by snowshowers over the weekend, so we're clearly into lambing time....

A proper post to follow soon....
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again

No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
I have to confess I didn't watch the match live, as it was on here at midnight, but of course we'll drink a wee bit too much on Sunday, then we'll pick oursel's up, dust oursel's doon and start all over again...
Hope that you and yours are well and happy and not getting too stressed over impending festivities... Xmas still seems a long way off from this side of the coin, but the plastic trees are beginning to make an appearance in the supermarkets along with the wee felt Santa outfits so....
my love to all in the north - despite being incredibly happy here I miss the auld country so much... Thurso, and all my friends and family are still in my heart and my thoughts.
Maybe I'll see you all soon, not sure yet what the festive plans are
until then,
take care,
We too have been suffering flooding these last few days, albeit not on a major scale, but up to waist deep in places. It usually drains away pretty quickly, though. Anita has just flown back to the UK with Otis today, so I am a sad dad at the moment... I'll be joining them in about three weeks. Will I make it North? I sincerely hope so, I would love to catch some of the almost midnight sun and meet my friends and family again...
take care all
